| With the user customizable features of Version 2 of this database, there is no longer any need to have us write a custom application. The user is now able to add his / her own tests just by filling out a form. However, we will still custom write a program for you. If you want us to write a custom program for you, you will need to provide the names of all the blood tests that your doctors run. Rather than have you enter the names of the tests in an online form, it is easier, faster, and more accurate to just email a copy of your blood tests. If you don't know what test are run, ask your physician for a copy of your blood test report. Be sure it includes ALL tests that are run on a regular basis. Doctors often run tests at different time intervals so a regular test may not appear on a specific report. If a test has been run only once and it is not expected to be run again on a regular basis, do not include it. You will be able to record the one time test as a one time event within the Events Section. By sending a copy of the actual blood test report, the database will be customized with the actual normal values that your lab uses. It is a little known fact that the normal values may vary between labs (depending upon equipment, testing reagents, and personnel skills). Further, since different labs use different abbreviation, we need to see all the details of your tests. If you are unable to email a copy of your blood test, Print or Type a list of the blood tests you wish to record. Please use the full name as well as the abbreviation of the test. For Example, Alkaline Phosphatase;AP. The reason for this is that the abbreviations may be different between labs. In the above example, AlkP is also an abbreviation used for Alkaline Phosphatase. |
